Disaster Relief

The Charleston Baptist Church Disaster Relief Team ministers to families in need locally, as needed – and regionally, when disaster strikes. The goal of the Disaster Relief Team is to provide: help, healing, and hope in the name of Jesus.

The DR team works in conjunction with the SC Baptist Disaster Relief ministry and is dispatched regionally to areas in need when help is needed.  The Love God Serve team serves locally by engaging in yard clean-up or simple construction projects for families in need.  We are blessed to have an equipped DR trailer with supplies and a designated team leader.

Training is required for congregants interested in serving on the regional SC DR team.  Training sessions are offered regionally, a few times per year and fees are provided by the church.
