The Charleston Baptist Church Disaster Relief Team ministers to families in need locally – as needed and regionally – when disaster strikes. The team serves our local community by engaging in yard clean-up or simple construction projects for families in need. The team also works in conjunction with the SC Baptist Disaster Relief ministry and is dispatched regionally to areas in need when help is needed. We are blessed to have an equipped DR trailer with supplies and a designated team leader.
Training is required for congregants interested in serving on the DR team. Training sessions are offered regionally, a few times per year and fees are provided by the church.
