Relationship with Jesus Christ

Salvation is God’s act of taking someone from death to life, through the gift of faith in Jesus Christ. Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ? Want to speak with a Pastor regarding your relationship with Jesus? Complete the Next Steps card.

Believer’s Baptism

Believer’s baptism is a first step for someone who has placed his or her faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Baptism is a public declaration of the individual’s new identity in Jesus Christ and symbolizes what has already taken place in the life of the individual. Join our Fellowship

Church membership is a great way for believers to affirm and to celebrate their identification with the community of Christ.  If you are interested in joining our community of believers here at Charleston Baptist Church, please complete the Next Steps card.

Connect with a LifeGroup

We are better together!  A LifeGroup is a group of 8-20 people who, out of the overflow of worship, have the desire to connect with one another on a deeper lvel and “do” life together.  When you attend a LifeGroup, you can expect a warm time of fellowship, Bible study, and prayer. We have LifeGroups that meet at various times throughout the week both on-campus and off-campus.  We have LifeGroups for all ages (kids, students, and adults). Serve | Volunteer

We believe it is important for believers to use the spiritual gift(s) God has given to help build up the body of believers (the church). At various times of the year, it is necessary that you register or sign-up for certain events or activities. JANUARY MISSION & PRAYER FOCUS:
Lowcountry Pregnancy Center | Baby Bottle Drive

January is Sanctity of Life month, so what better way to support the cause than to support the Lowcountry Pregnancy Center.  LPC provides pregnancy testing & services, counseling, classes, and resources.  How can you get involved?

1. PRAY – pray for LPC as they minister to families, dispense services & counseling, and provide resources to families in need.

2. GIVE – you can pick up a baby bottle in any of the lobbies around campus; take it home and fill it with cash, check, or loose change; bring it back to the church office by the end of the month.  If you choose to give online, please designate your offering to LPC or Baby Bottle drive.

CORE SPORTS Volunteer Registration

CORE sports kids basketball & cheerleading season starts in January.
CORE is an outreach ministry to the community at large and we need
lots of volunteers for everything to run smoothly.  If you can volunteer
in any capacity or on any Saturday in January, February, March- we
request that you please sign up online.  You can find more info on
volunteer opportunities and dates at the registration link below.

MEN’S BREAKFAST

Jan. 18th | 7 am | Gathering area

Men’s Breakfast (for men of all ages from kids – adults) are welcomed to come.  You will enjoy a good breakfast, fellowship, a time of prayer, and a brief devotional.  This breakfast will be held in the Gathering area, due to CORE basketball prep in the Gym building.

Ladies Precept Bible Study

The next study is: The Gospel of John – Savoring the Peace of Jesus in a Chaotic World with Video Access by Melissa Spoelstra.  7 sessions total. Study is facilitated by Ms. Louise Moran.

Next session begins: Monday, January 20th.  Two sessions: 10 am on campus (Gym building) or 6 pm online via Zoom. Childcare for ages 2-5 yrs is available with advanced reservation for the MORNING session on campus.
