Welcome to CORE Projects
Charleston Baptist Church’s CORE Projects is made up of people who love to volunteer, put together, organize, make, or craft – whether for fun and fellowship or for mission outreach-related purposes.
CORE Projects includes current ministry events like: Fourth Friday Projects and our Emily Stitchers knitting group along with the potential of adding more events in the future!
Fourth Friday Projects
Participants meet from 11 am – 2 pm in the CB Kids wing every fourth Friday of the month. There are projects for men, women, & kids. Projects range from putting together kits for those in need, small gifts for nursing home residents, assembly line type projects, organizing items for Operation Christmas Child, and crafting items to be included in the Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. Browse the Church Event Calendar | Category = CORE Projects | for craft events that may occur during the year.

Emily Stitchers
This group of committed participants love to knit, crochet, and sew. They hand craft caps and lap blankets for the Charleston Baptist Assocation Seaman’s ministry, Nursing home residents, newborns, and those in need. Yarn is provided by the church through contributions. This group partners with Charleston Baptist Association, Nursing Facilities, and Lowcountry Pregnancy Center, Florence Crittenton home, and Bread of Life for distribution of finished projects. Group is named in memory of Mrs. Emily Mount who loved to knit and had a huge heart for ministry.
To participate or donate supplies, please contact Pat Everett or email: info@charlestonbaptist.org.
