Listening Session (low pressure audition): Saturday, June 15, 2024 | 10:00 am | choir rehearsal suite

Presentation: Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 6:00 pm (Dress rehearsal for participants @ 4 pm)

Cost: $20.00 per participant

About:

Music camp is a super-charged week of singing, theatre, and choreography. In five days, we will learn an entire Christian children’s musical that includes lights, costumes, sets, props, and finale presentation!

Eligibility:

Music Camp is open to kids who have completed K5 through completed 6th grade.

Registration | Cost:

$20.00 per participant. Each registration includes a listening CD, t-shirt for presentation, and dinner each evening. If a scholarship for Music Camp is needed, please contact Pastor Shaun: shaun@charlestonbaptist.org.

How to register for Music Camp:

Click the “Register Here” button (below) and you will be directed to an online site where you will be able to complete registration and payment.
Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive confirmation, please contact Pastor Shaun (shaun@charlestonbaptist.org).
Following registration, each participant will need to pick up their fun kit at Charleston Baptist Church. This can be done during normal business hours or after morning services at the CB Kids Welcome Center.

Prior to Music Camp:

Upon registration, each participant will receive a fun kit which includes a listening CD of all the songs in the musical. Have fun listening to our musical and in no time you’ll have learned all the songs before camp even begins!

What About Listen Session/Low Pressure Audition?

Listening sessions for main speaking parts and solos will be held in the CBC Choir Suite. Please come prepared to read and to sing by yourself. Details regarding date and time are at the top of this page.

The week of Music Camp, all participants selected for speaking parts, character roles, and solos will need to arrive each day at 4:00 pm for rehearsal.

When is the Presentation?

The presentation dress rehearsal is at 4:00 pm on Saturday following camp week. The presentation is on Saturday (following camp week) at 6:00 pm in the Charleston Baptist Church Worship Center. Tickets are not required. Details regarding date and time are at the top of this page.
