Colossians 1:13-14

Truth #1: Because Christ is enough; I have experienced the mercy of God. (Colossians 1:13a, Ephesians 2:1-5, Romans 6:23)

Mercy- is God withholding from me what I do deserve because of my sin.

Truth #2 Because Christ is enough; I now enjoy the grace of God. (Colossians 1:13b, Ephesians 2:6-8)

Grace- is God giving me what I don’t deserve.

Truth #3: Because Christ is enough; I am set free. (Colossians 1:14, 1 Peter 1:18-19, Romans 6:6-7, Isaiah 43:25, Romans 8:1)

Redemption- the purchasing of our freedom from the bondage of sin.

Forgiveness- the removal of the guilt of sin: past, present, and future.
